Paid Traffic Update

April 29, 2014 — by Adam Hunt0

Since I haven’t written anything in few days, I thought it would be a good idea to let you guys know what’s up.

My campaign is still running, however the opt-ins are coming along way to slowly for me . The next step then obviously was to optimize the targets. When I looked closer at what targets I had put in, I realized they were crap. So rather than having 700 targets per country, I decided to go with much less, but much more targeted.

To get it right this time, I had to use google search of that country. For example, for Australia it is google.com.au. Now to make sure I get as accurate results as I can, I did 2 things.

Used exact match for search

It doesn’t make any sense to use broad or even phrase match, since it is not as targeted. I don’t want to get into what the difference is, just trust me. So in other words, you open google search and type in your keyword like this [my keyword]. What you get is highly targeted search results in that country. Than you just scrape them, go over them and put them in your campaign. Now I must stress you won’t be getting as many impressions, but you will be getting more targeted impressions. What we are trying to do here is to get as many impressions for as little as we can.
Just so you know, I am working on a video that explains it all and takes you step by step. You’ll just have to keep coming back to this site 🙂

IP change

To be 100% accurate I also changed my IP for each country I am targeting. I use a service called Hide my Ass and it is quite easy. You can choose the country you want to change your IP to. That way you know, your results are as accurate as they can be. I use Hide my ass when I run my Magic Submitter campaigns so I wouldn’t leave a trail. The way I have it set up now is it changes my IP every 20 minutes. It is a paid service, but if you don’t go to MacDonald’s twice a month, you will be able to afford it.

Having accurate targets is one thing, but having a high converting landing page is another. I guess you have seen my landing pages and I thought I should create new ones since it is a Currency Trading software I am promoting so it does deserve more text.

Here are the old ones:

Old one #1
Old one #2

And here are the new ones:

New one #1
New one #2

I created two, as you can see, with the subscription box on either left or right. The reason for that is to test what converts better. After I have a winner, I will start playing around with headline, then with colors, buttons, etc. The idea is to find the best converting landing page.

So as you can see I am pretty busy with getting this thing to work. Also I just opened an account with Leadimpact (apparently #2 in pop up networks) because #1, Traffic Vance, told me to go f@#k myself. This means I will be using two networks, 50onred and Leadimpact.

I will let you know how that goes.

See ya
